Aperitivo Week is Here!

In Spain, “La hora del aperitivo” is a pre-lunch moment, around noon, when you gather some friends, some drinks, some “tapas” and definitely some laughs. Aperitivo week, created by the Barcelona brand El Bandarra,  is a celebration of this very moment. Running for 8 days, from Saturday 21st May to Saturday 18th May, to mark the start of the UK Summer, Aperitivo Week encourages you to meet up with  friends and start making  those plans for the months ahead.

Kicking off the week of activities, join the El Bandarra TukTuk and brand ambassador Alexa Farrow for a chance to sample Barcelona in just one sip at Vinoteca Kings Cross, from 4pm – 7pm. Book a spot to enjoy Vinoteca’s Aperitivo Week menu, which includes the Bandarra Spritz (1 part Al Fresco, 1 part Cava, Splash of Soda, with a slice of Grapefruit) and enjoy a Jambon carver live in action. Throughout the week, an Aperitivo Week menu will be available at all Vinoteca sites.

Meanwhile, nearby in Coal Drops Yard, Hicce celebrates the Barcelona Aperitivo and launches its El Bandarra Rojo 50cl  bottle serve on the terrace. The perfect addition to the Sunday Brunch offering 11am-4pm.

Alternatively , if you prefer your Aperitivo with a side of ‘Monkey Fingers’ head to your nearest MEATLiquor, where you will find the ultimate El Bandarra menu and the chance to win a trip to Barcelona. Visit any of the MEATLiquor sites between 21st-28th May, to find out how to enter.

Saturday 28th May also marks the opening of the El Bandarra terrace at MEATLiquor, Clapham.
