Jason Fox’s Wild Tales podcast this week features Mark Beaumont. The renowned cyclist and adventurer is probably most famous for cycling round the world on two separate occasions, the last in under 80 days. In this podcast over a Talisker, Foxy talks to him about the scrapes he went through in order to accomplish those tasks, but also about his life growing up in the highlands of Scotland and the drive which saw him take on extreme challenges from an extremely young age.

There’s also a hell of a lot besides, including a gripping story about Mark’s escape from a capsized boat in the Atlantic that will have you reaching for the smelling salts.
