Jason Fox’s Wild Tales Ep. 23: Latitude 35 and Aldo Kane

Jason Fox’s guests on this very special episode of the podcast are two rowers taking on the Talisker Whisky Atlantic Challenge which starts on 12^th December. Dixon McDonald and Jimmy Carroll are part of a team called Latitude 35 who are competing in the prestigious annual race from the Canary Islands to Antigua – not a trip for the faint-hearted, but brave and resilient souls can do well; so long as the whims of weather and ocean allow it, of course. The race is one which raises tons of money for charity as well as providing life-changing experiences for those involved, and the podcast reveals some of the motivations for getting involved and also the challenges ahead.

As an added bonus, Foxy is joined by Aldo Kane – who he rowed the Atlantic with in 2016 as part of a different challenge – so they could all share experiences and advice on achieving at sea. It makes for a cracking episode.
