Hardcore Workouts For Home Training

Fitness

Manor Gyms, Jason Fox's choice for punishing training sessions and mental health support, are moving into digital to provide people with their world beating sessions at home.

MANOR Gyms is a seriously hardcore gym run by a group of ex-cage fighters, boxers, soldiers and hardcases of every kind…lovely hardcases though. Yes, because MANOR are also unique in the emphasis they put on people’s mental health too and create a warm and genuine community – Jason Fox is one of the boys there, which says it all. We are particularly big fans of their StrongNotSilent campaign which aims to get men to open up about their inner struggles while also bonding in some serious sessions. With COVID-19 now closing they’re premises, they’re opening a new digital gym on Facebook, which will consist of a group page for members to train and get 1-1 sessions to ensure fitness continues to be optimised, and also a new group page for non-members where everyone can access advice on physical and mental health for this period.

Here’s the details of their new digital push:

MANOR ONLINE A new training platform for MANOR members, including:

    • TRAINING tune in to daily live bodyweight workouts delivered by MANOR coaches morning, lunch and evening with 17 sessions a week.
    • FOOD and NUTRITION receive recipes, meal builders and nutritional plans from a qualified nutritional advisor, with cook along at home videos and tutorials from a professional chef.
    • MINDSET have access to weekly facebook chats from MANOR coaches and speakers across our network focussing on mindset, positive habits and optimising mental health.
    • ACCOUNTABILITY receive a designated MANOR coach for a weekly goal setting and accountability video call to help build the framework to live a structured and fulfilling life through the coming months – “we will not let mass disruption to our routines and social habits damage our mental health!”
    • 1-2-1 COACHING have access to Online Personal Training with Senior MANOR coaches- if you have access to a gym at home or any/ all gym equipment, book in with one of the Senior Coaching Team for a virtual PT session through Zoom.
    • PROGRAMMING Home gym training programs for those with access to kit, mirroring MANOR’s in studio Volume session programming.
    • DAILY DIGEST Daily content diary, featuring the best of podcasts, youtube, blog posts and other material curated by the MANOR team to keep you learning, thinking, smiling and laughing throughout your days at home!

MANOR BLITZ A new platform open to everyone at £30 per person which will provide:

    • a programmed, six week, periodised, bodyweight video training platform and social support group.
    • created by MANOR Head Coach and ex professional Rugby player Ben John, with support from the broader MANOR team.
    • access a closed platform, where workouts are dropped every night for the next day, and Blitzers comment, spread inspiration and ask questions of the MANOR coach team to keep their training on track.
    • The Blitz requires no equipment and can be done anywhere in your home or outdoor space.

THE MANORHOOD– a public access hub which is free to all and that will host StrongNotSilent panel talks specifically addressing areas of mental health that all of our wider community could benefit from at this time.

Get involved with what they’re doing, this is exactly the kind of thing that will help you keep your mind and body together in the coming months in isolation.
